Misty VanHorn allegedly asked for $1,000 for her two-year-old and $4,000 for her four-year-old. Investigators said she wanted the cash to pay for bail for her boyfriend who was in jail. A concerned relative of VanHorn’s contacted authorities. According to a police report, VanHorn messaged a potential buyer on Facebook, saying, “Just come to Sallisaw, it’s only 30 minutes away and I’ll give you all of her stuff and let y’all have her forever for $1,000.” The kids are in state custody and VanHorn is in jail on a charge of child trafficking. The mother-of-two contacted a woman in Fort Smith through Facebook and talked about selling her two young children. She put a $1,000 price on the head of her youngest and $4,000 for her oldest. The woman, who has not been named, contacted the Oklahoma Department of Human Services, who notified Sallisaw Police. Neighbours of VanHorn said she had been asking for money to help get her boyfriend out of jail. It is not known what offence he was being held on.‘She was going door to door, here to all the way across town asking everybody for money to get him out,’ said Tony Mosby, a neighbor. Detectives say VanHorn told them she needed the money to bond her boyfriend out of jail. VanHorn was booked into the Sequoyah County jail on a complaint of trafficking children. Her bond was $40,000. Both children were placed into state custody.

That is a damn shame man, selling your kids! That women should be put in the middle of the sea with one life vest and than tell her to save herself.
something should be done to her. The punishment in this country should be reanalyzed because during the past years the atrocities have been increasing. And prison is a luxury to them now.

Guys i live in Oklahoma. None of you feel my pain right now. But really its stupid. Why in the hell would anybody try to sell their kids on Facebook That is like advertising your preferred blend of tobacco in front of a police station.
