modding tools wont connect get error message.help

my kids have been on my laptop when i was out and now when i try and connect my modding tools i get a error message like this
Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately.

how do i fix this problem been on the web to look but no clear answers when it comes to gamming
