A new block for Minecraft! This one looks like a die, in which all of the numbers which can come up are ‘incomprehensible motherboard / carefully arranged jelly tots’. Already it’s becoming apparent that Minecraft’s latest addition is intended for minds far more ambitious than mine. “So this block will be able to run cmds on redstone signals,” said Jens Bergensten via Twitter. “With proper commands, many things can be scripted. “For example, “xp 500 @player” would give the (single-)player 500 enchantment points.” Jens went on to explain that the block will not be craftable, as it is intended to be placed only by admins on adventure maps. Below is a screenshot of the new command block in action, for which the command is reportedly ”give @p 20 7″.
