LEGO City Undercover has been given a new trailer by Nintendo. The first in a series of LEGO City Undercover "webisodes" looks at the game's protagonist Chase McCain. Spoiler http://bcove.me/bpjzm315 Combining gameplay footage with comedy cutscenes, the video showcases McCain's platforming and combat skills, including his ability to wall run, hurdle objects and throw enemies. Chase is also seen driving vehicles and climbing buildings as he attempts to take down a gang of robbers. Originally titled LEGO City Stories, LEGO City Undercover was announced at E3 2011. The game sees players hunt down criminals in LEGO City, an open-world environment loosely based on San Francisco. Chase will have access to countless disguises, as well as a wide variety of land and air vehicles, in his pursuit of the bad guys. The Wii U GamePad will act as a communicator to talk to other characters, a scanner to search for clues and a sat nav for finding your way around the city. LEGO City Undercover will land in North America on March 28 and in Europe on March 18. A 3DS iteration, called LEGO City Undercover: The Chase Begins, will be released later this year. Nintendo recently confirmed a limited-edition bundle that includes a LEGO minifigure of the game's protagonist Chase McCain.
