Alright guy's Im trying to flash a Lite-on DG-16D2S back to stock FW. It's been ages since I have used jungleflasher and can barely remember half of what I used to know. Jungleflasher can't seem to detect the drive and is just saying drive type - undetermined! Im using a usb pro 2 I have disabled drive sig so I don't get portio error I have installed and re-installed the correct drivers for the usb pro 2 and ck3i I have updated the usb pro to the latest FW using the update tool I am running as administrator I have tried to intro and outro/refresh the drive but get nothing! I have also tried older versions of jungleflasher Here's a screenshot of what I am getting if anybody can help...
strange being a liteon they normally show up straight away try powering the drive with an ac/dc adapter was this drive already flashed m8. do you already have a key at all if youve flashed this drive previously if so ive gotta spare liteon drive mate if this ones being a pain in the ass. youre not too far from me mate so is be happy to help.
The drive seems to be powering fine bud as it's opening and closing fine and Im using a new probe 3. It has been previously flashed a few years back the chap said but was done by someone else so don't have the key. He's basically tried doing a dash update years ago and the update keeps crashing so told him it's because of his modded fw and will need to flash it back to stock do the update then re-flash for him.

Have you tried with the tray half open? I remember having a similar problem a while back and tray half open worked.
Yes m8 tried multiple times with the tray half open Peeing me right off as I can swear I had a drive just like it years back and I managed to get around it just can't remember how!
right benq firmware BenQ 6243/6493, older firmware revisions . liteon 7485/8385/9345. older revisions . its possibly a spoofed drive if its a liteon on the case and showing as a 6243 . tryreading the key as you would a benq , hope this gets a best answer lol..

I did check but only once bud. I will try again and it would make a bit of sense. When I try n extract the key it comes up with extract complete then extract failed as drive is not a lite-on. Will have a bash in a min and see what I can do
Just trying but Im getting BenQ-unlock-command returned error. If it is spoofed do I just extract the key as I would if it were a BenQ?
i would think so mate then just flash the key if you can get it and write it to a benq if you have one there if not ive got abt 6 lol..
