For best results. You are better off with R-JTAG. However it's not for people who are fairly new with RGH/JTAG. Personally I'd get someone to do it for you. You can also RGH2 the console. But if you're not good with tweaking and stuff. You'll run into a lot of problems with the boot times. R-JTAG will be instant to - 2 cycles each time if done properly.

You're gonna need a RJTAG or CR3 lite/pro, tweaking them isn't too hard it just takes a lot of time and you need a hell of a lot of patience (which I don't have) lol.

How can he use a pro? that's for Slim ONLY lol

I already explained he'll need R-JTAG for the best results..

Plus, a Rev C won't get you far alone. As Ironz said a CR3Lite contains an AIO solution, onboard CLK, CPU RST Cleaner and configurable capacitors. However, they are discontinued now. So if you went with a Rev C, you'll need to purchase the add on cpu_rst cleaner, capacitors etc for the best result.

You're easier just to get an R-JTAG starter kit and go from there. Installation is fairly simple. Tweaking is fine too. But as I said, it's not really for beginners.

EDIT - CR3 lite's are discontinued now. Liam was unaware that they are not available.

I'll say it again. R-JTAG is your best option as of today. Any CR3 Lite's you get will most likely be clones.
