would depend on rom version 48,59,78,79 you would need the right chip set on your motherboard or you would need a via VT6421 and jungle flasher they should be plenty of tutorials on here for all drives
agreed, the "shitachi" model works best with a usb pro. you also need an ihas burner since im pretty sure you cant truncate games with that drive.
