Help with minecraft server

I have recently created a server and my friends cant join cus its not port forwarded how do i do that?

 

You need to go into your router setting and port foward 25565 on your server.

Just download log me in hamichi no port fording needed just complete the instructions amd tell your friends to do the same

Essentials is a good start but if your running a standard minecraft_server.jar then there is no plugins.
