found the usb now cause i put a save on it but its not letting me put f3installer over when i drag?? Attached Thumbnails
You need to tell us exactly what your problem is. A screenshot and saying help please doesn't give us enough information.
ok il explain. i got the folder on to my usb but it does not show up on my xbox. can you please tell me if i have it in the right place if not how to and where to put folder. cheers guys
I believe your problem is that your structure is DATA\CONTENT\ instead of CONTENT being on root of drive.
You should just be able to drag the content folder to the root of the drive in Windows Explorer. Give it a try and let me know.
OK, on the root of your drive you should have the content folder, then inside the content folder should be a folder named "0000000000000000" (16 zeroes without the quotes), and finally inside that folder should be the f3installer folder.
Hmm, you can boot your xbox up and format the usb drive as a MU and then repeat the steps we just did. That is probably why the xbox is not recognizing the drive. Another option is grabbing the iso version and burning to disc. http://www.xpgamesaves.com/topic/50709-f3-installer-freestyle-dash-v3/#.UOhIYKWcPcY
already done that before mate. put the usb in the xbox formatted and made a it a xbox memory unit. the usb comes up in the list of storage devices but says its empty :|
Once you have formatted the usb copy something from your hdd you have purchased like a online pass or something. That way it creates the content folder with the 16 zeros. Then drop the fsd3installer into the 00000000000000000 folder.Boot up the xbox into normal dash, then go to game demos then you should see fsd3 installer then start it like you would a game demo.
Away from my xbox at the moment so I can't try to recreate what you are doing, but there are other ways to get FSD on your system. First, what is your setup? By that I mean, what type of xbox 360 do you have, is there an internal HDD or internal MU, do you currently have any file managers on your system such as Xexmenu?
