Well you need to explain more so I even know if I can help you... I have some minor experience with Borderlands game save modding.
yeah no problem i have a modded sniper rifle and have to be a stupid level of 65k and cantwork out how to lower it so i can use it im level 69 character i upload the save if you want if you want to have a bash at doing it?
Ever heard of the program Willow Tree? Try loading it in there. I think the more and bigger the mods you put on the gun the higher level it takes to use. I believe the game calculates the level by reading the stats, so I don't think you can edit the level alone. Try modifying the gun mods.
yeah i use that program thats what i used and i set the level down 0 and quailty 0 and ammo 0 and i cant get the level to come down want me to upload the save?
I had the same problem when editing to insane levels you have to use only stock parts try this save got an invincibility shield and a super pistol on it. load drop for a second profile reload then transfer items to your player. I think there was a stock mod tutorial on the site that starts with 7 but was very long and complicated. Here is a save with some very good gear shield makes you invincible, enjoy!
