Ok so I have a stock 360 that is still under warranty through Microsoft. It occasionally freezes and has startedproducing alot more heat. Now I fix 360s but hey this is free so whatever. I need help finishing it off because the warranty ends in January. So far i have stopped the fan and covered the vents but only to a flashing red light and then a regular boot. Any ideas? Maybe shorting it and popping a capacitor or mosfet? LIKE to the killing reply!
So you're looking to break it so you can send it in and have it replaced while it's still under warranty? Easy. Put it in the microwave for about 10 to 15 seconds. It'll do the trick.
Only problem with that is if he tries it himself and screws something up he could void the warranty or mess it up even more
Id say call up Microsoft and have them fix it its better than beating it up because you bought it for alot of money right!? :why:
Yup all packaged to be mailed tomorrow. Would normally fix myself but this way gets me a refurbished or brand new box.
