Hello, I need help learning to mod my saves and creating items, etc. I dont want to learn hex edit, just how to use the editors and how to use other peoples saves, etc. Probably will only take 30 mins or so, I learn fast, I am just sick of searching these forums. you dont need to thats the quicker way bec you dont have to do the 3 steps over and over again with jappi's editor i just extract my character with the pieces of gear i want to mod decrypt the character open it up in HXD look at doses thread on id's find what i wanted to mod copy past it in HXD by hitting control F make sure you select the hex value option in the find box find the item look for the 30 09 or 30 0D depending on the item viper has a thread on how to add effixes to items copy past these steps one at a time step one first then 2 on the third step you can add a id step one : 30 09 38 7F 40 00 50 12 60 FF FF 7F step one : 30 0D 38 7F 40 00 50 12 60 FF FF 7F step two : 30 09 38 FF 7F 40 00 50 12 60 FF FF FF 7F step two : 30 0D 38 FF 7F 40 00 50 12 60 FF FF FF 7F (note there are 4 here bec on line is 30 09 and the other is30 0D) note everytime u add a step you have to save out of HXD encrypt you save, replace your charcater with the same save you used to extract it with save reash,resighn, then load it up into your game repair your items save and start all over again the third step looks like this 1D 73 23 06 50 30 09 38 7F 40 00 50 12 60 FF 7F = 3 sockets i wasnt saying not to use jappi's editor just wanted to post some info if you wanted to know how to use hex
