Microsoft's upcoming game the Sci-fi shooter that everyone is so hyped for Halo 5 Guardians will include amazing features to boost player experience and differentiate Halo 5 from previous halo games. In the new co-op mode, players will have the ability to revive a fallen squad mate. This mechanic can also be found on Gears of War. Yes the same mechanics to revive a player is similar to the Gears of War feature. According to Microsoft its purpose is to encourage players to play as a team and not play like they are lone wolves out at war.

In Halo 5 you will be accompanied by 3 other players. (this will only work online as there is no local split screen). If you're playing solo and a teammate goes down you can command another squad mate to revive them. AI's are also capable of reviving you.

Revives will only work if completed in a certain amount of time. In the previous Halo Co-Op campaigns, a fallen friend could spawn back in the safe area. This was a huge frustration for the halo community. This new feature will make the game experience more enjoyable .

Halo 5 Co-op mode now requires Xbox Live Gold.
