So a buddy of mine modded my xbox a few years back and I have been burning games ever since. I always patch them first and I never have a problem online. I have seen games available in GOD format as well as DLC for games I have, but I have never tried one before. Now I ran into a game that is only available in GOD (Crysis) My question is, how do I figure out the type of mod I have and whether or not I can fire it up without getting my xbox banned? Are these as easy to use as just putting them on a USB and opening it up on the 360? Thanks for your help
If you are burning discs you will have the drive firmware mod allowing you to do just this, play copied games. This means 90% of the time it will not have a Jtag or RGH hardware mod done, easiest way to tell is to power up your console by pressing the eject button, if it loads straight to dash you only have the dvd firmware mod, if it loads to xell you have a RGH or Jtag. Firmware mods will not play unsigned content eg. GOD games not signed to your profile/console or ISO2GOD images.
