gamesave editor question

I use VB and make a stand alone windows application.

also if you haveing trouble compiling it
hears a step by step:
1. look at the top of the screen and it says file, edit, view... keep going along to build
2. click on it and then press publish and then come up with a screen and then choose a area to publish it

then google how to compile files to setup.exe

hmm i just have 1 more question is it possible to look into a gamesave editor one that's already made (to have some more examples on how they are made ) ( lol im still learning and i only made 1 so far)

hmm i know the coding for making the editor i mean i want to do something more like
for example

i made a tut for changing colors on weapons and i want to make a editor for that but my problem is the location of the weapons are in different places so i cant set it to one offset ( or can i ?) i got the idea from dead island v1.9 so i just wanted to know if its possible to open open dead island v1.9 to see the script so i know how he/she did it so i can make a save editor to change the colors on items

 

find the hex values and go from there.

 

hmm kk i found out the hex values but for money ammo are in different places in every save if anyone knows a way around this so i can make my editors work for ever save ( game is dead island)
