hello guys of XPG just had a question if i were to install games on my retail hdd will i be able to extract them later and install it on my jtag since my dvd drive doesnt work on my jtag and i have no means to flash it (if thats even the problem) i dont wanna download games since im trying to stay safe on the internet but if yll know of a way to download and stay safe ten by all means inform me thanks guys sorry if i posted in wrong section
I don't think you'd be able to to be quite honest. I was going to suggest JTAG rips, rips that are already ripped and you can just transfer to your USB or INTERNAL HDD on your JTAG/RGH, I don't condone piracy but I download them myself and I've always been safe on the internet, I wouldn't recommend public BT sites either, private all the way. If your drive doesn't work it sounds like a bad laser if the drive isn't reading the game discs same applies to retail game discs or sounds like a bad flash - Usually one of the two.
Other then getting arcade games online and unlocking them. Your pretty limited to downloading them via the internet.
Yes it is very possible to do, a bit of messing around and will need a transfer cable etc. Backup your games on your retail (GOD format) or download them from xbox live if you have the digital version (this will already be in GOD format) Plug your internal hdd into your transfer cable and plug the other end into PC. Now you need a fatx explorer program, probably the most recent is Party Buffalo explorer. Open the explorer and transfer your game to the PC (should be located in content\0000000000000000\*TitleId*\00007000\) Once you have the game on your PC you can transfer the game to your Jtag via your usual method. Now you will need to download a program called NXE2GOD, run this on your Jtag and it will remove the license data associated with the game and will make it playable on your Jtag. ok so today i grabbed one of my games on demand from my retail and transfered to my jtag put it in the 00000000000/titleid/00007000 and when i try to launch the game it says it couldnt launch is there something i have to do through a resigner
