Long story short: I have an X360, got it on retail, guy who sold it is my friend, modified the console for 1 TB HDD, banned from Live, gave me Aurora and Freestyle software. I have 2 Freestyles in the XeX menu, don't know which is which. Both are different versions. 1 of 'em says Freestyle V3 when opened. Problem: When I got Freestyle, the game list inside was completely empty. That was the Freestyle V3. It did, however, showed new games whenever installed or copied. Example: After I got Freestyle, my friend told me he had MoH Warfighter available. I said 'okay' and he transferred it to my HDD. I saw my favorite, Prince of Persia 2008 and got that one, too. The newly transferred games (MoH and PoP) came up in the game list in Freestyle. Things I tried: Path set to HDD and Content. Tried on all scan depths (from 1 to 10 and infinite). Did manual scans. The game folders in HDD: Content showed up in the 'currently being scanned' message on the bottom left of the screen, but when the scan was done, the game list was still empty. The only other game that shows up is RE Revelations 2 in the Xbox Live Arcade section. I got another version of Freestyle a month later from my friend, but the game list was empty on that one, too. I tried scans on that one. About 84 of the 118 games in my HDD showed up in the new version. Not all of them. Note: Nothing in the list or anywhere else is changed, and I haven't used any 'Hide Game' options, in case you bring it up. And my console is banned from Live, so no dashboard updates. Tell me if I'll need one. Trivia: This is probably pointless, but I'll just say it; the clock of the console is messed up. Whenever I turn it on, the time and date are 11:45 January/February 01, 2006. Somewhere around there, but it doesn't do anything to the games, so I had no complaints. Is it relevant to Freestyle working? And that's about it. Problem is on, forum is posted, replies and solutions are awaited.
If i was you i would delete all your fsd/aurora installs including config files and start fresh (keep xexmenu & games), install the latest FSD using xexmenu and set it as your default boot (FSD). make sure all your games are in your content folder to save complications and set up your paths up and set scan to 10. I saw on your status about max payne 3, running games from FSD should automatically switch disks from your HDD if set up properly, to do that simply put your games as follows Content/Max Payne 3/Disk 1 and do the same for disk 2 as for your time been wrong make sure your ports are forwarded properly as that it usually the problem and isn't connecting to JQE360 (Xbox Unity) correctly
My Aurora is working fine. FSD, that's the problem. Yeah, I tried deleting all data but it never stops. I literally waited for about one and a half hours. Is there any other way to do it? I just wanna say, personally, I liked Aurora more than Freestyle, really. It's working with no problems. Oh, and the Max Payne 3 problem is solved. I ran the Freestyle plugin in Aurora and then ran the game. I didn't even have do anything about selecting from the file manager. It just played.
