I'm a new member directed here by a video on youtube. Specifically interested in modding Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas, Elder Scrolls Oblivion and Skyrim, Assassins Creed series Grand Theft Auto 5 and a few others. I've tried many different ways including 360Revolution and Horizon XboxMG. Neither seems to work.

I clicked on the link on this site, and it downloaded the 360Revolution, but something is wrong with it. It will not run when I click run on the winrar file which it was downloaded to. This happened several times. I could find no solution in other threads that I could understand, nor resolved the problem.

Upon clicking "run," a popup warning states:

"360Revolution.exe - .NET Framework Initilization Error"
"To run this application, you must first install one of the following versions of the .NET Framework: V4.030319 Contact your application publisher for instructions about obtaining the appropriate version of the .NET Framework"

The broken link that I downloaded from is:
    http://xpgamesaves.com/360Revolution/360Revolution.exe

Please help. Please be thorough in explaining as I am not tech-savvy.

That is the issue. You don't have .NET Framework 4.0
Please make sure you have .NET Frameworks 2.0 - 4.5 installed on your machine before trying to run 360Revolution.
Also, be sure to run 360Revolution as Admin.

Windows update should automatically add them to your update list.

Yes, it should in theory. But sometimes best to manually install them from their download database instead.
