Fortnite mobile is no longer available through invite only! The game has been officially released for certain Apple iOS devices. Here are the details from developer Epic Games:

Requires an internet connection and iOS 11.

    Works with: iPhone SE, 6S, 7, 8, X; iPad Mini 4, Air 2, 2017, Pro.

Fortnite DOES NOT support: iPhone 5S, 6, 6 Plus; iPad Air, Mini 2, Mini 3, iPod Touch.

Sorry Andoid gamers… You’ll have to stick with Fortnite’s competitor PUBG for the moment -- No word yet on when the Fortnite Android version will be available.

Fortnite has been having a very successful year so far, but it has been absolutely booming and literally record setting as of late:

-While streaming with musician Drake, 635,000 people concurrently tuned in to watch Fornite on Twitch

-Fornite is now the most viewed game on YouTube

-Fornite made $126 million in February even though it’s technically free-to-play

-Teens and teachers say Fortnite mobile is destroying some schools -- this was over a week before today’s official release

Without a doubt, Fortnite mobile will boost the game’s player base even more! It will be interesting to see how big it will get...
