Ubisoft has released an impressive gameplay trailer for Far Cry 3, following the epic CGI trailer last week. The trailer shows more than five minutes of gameplay, as the game’s protagonist Jason Brody fights his way through a gang controlled ship in order to disable a radio transmitter. “Far Cry 3 players step into the shoes of Jason Brody, a man alone at the edge of the world, stranded on a mysterious tropical island cut off from civilization,” says the publisher. The game seems weighted on the fast-paced, run-and-gun style of gameplay, thanks to the amount of enemies and lack of available cover. However this is only a small section of the game, and it may differ in other sections. The animations look fluid and solid, especially the quick use of grappling hooks and zip lines. Graphically the game looks beautiful: the seas are the brightest blue, the sands the whitest white and the blood the thickest red. We’re also looking forward to seeing more of the game’s main antagonist who made an appearance in the recent CGI trailer, and liked to repeatedly ask us if we knew the meaning of insanity at last year’s E3.
