Microsoft announced the next-installment in Forza Horizon franchise will be released for Xbox One and Xbox 360 consoles later on in the year. Forza Horizon 2 development will be split amongst two studios meaning that the 'Next Gen' version will not be held back by the older Xbox 360 version, which is great news. The Xbox 360 version will be taken on by UK developer Sumo Digital which will be built using the Horizon 1 engine whilst the Xbox One version will be headed up by Playground using the Forza 5 engine. https://twitter.com/ForzaMotorsport/status/473526917476278272 Take a look at the first official 1080p screenshots of Forza Horizon 2 below and let us know what you think.... Forza Horizon 2 is set to release in Fall 2014 for Xbox One and Xbox 360.
It sure does, and they got around the cross gen issues that seems to be annoying everyone right now too by having both versions developed by different companies on different engines.
