has anyone figured out a hotswap or firmware mod that actually works now in 2012? all the posts i see are from 2011. and xbox has been updated since then
"firmware mod" read a bit harder as most tuts are for lt3.0 which is the latest cfw (which most of us are on and online with)
yes it has. it has been affected because i am on the latest dashboard. and the y button trick and pressing the eject tray button no longer works. that was the method to be used WITHOUT opening the xbox. I don't really trust my self voiding my life time warranty by opening it and taking a bigger risk being banned. thats what im looking for ways to hotswap without opening it. but cant seem to find any updated to 2012
That was most likely patched. I wouldn't call that a hotswap though as you do no fast swapping. I would call it a glitch but yea open your Xbox up if you want to mod man. I didn't want to open my console to mod for a while either. When I did I thought I made a good decision and instead of a warranty now I do my own maintenance.
