"Changing the settings in this menu is only intended for developers for Xbox One, and this alone does not turn the console into a development kit," Microsoft said in a statement provided to Engadget. "We strongly advise consumers against changing these settings as it could result in their Xbox One becoming unusable." Those who have already enabled the developer settings on their Xbox One can revert by restoring factory defaults. This can be done by selecting "Restore Factory Defaults" in the settings menu.
