Gamers who were patient enough to wait for the WiiU to launch in order to get their sports fix will be happy to know that the wait is now over. Both Madden NFL 13 and FIFA 13 are available, along with the WiiU, as of yesterday. The WiiU promises to offer fans of the series greater control of the game using the new GamePad, along with the same stunning and realistic graphics they have come to expect from EA SPORTS sports games. Also, both games will offer the same game modes they had on the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions, along with new, specific to the WiiU modifications.
For Madden, gamers will be able to use the GamePad to call plays, update their depth chart and call audibles prior to the snap. You will also be able to use the new detached mode, which allows the user to play the game on the GamePad, clearing up the television for other uses.
For FIFA, players will be able to take part in an entirely new way of playing where you get to take control of your team as the manager in innovative ways. The GamePad will allow you to control all your players using an interactive radar or to make alterations to change the outlook of your team. You can also analyze different match and player stats in real -time in order to properly make these decisions on the fly.
These different innovations may make the wait for these two games worthwhile. Are you going to pick up these games along with your new WiiU or have you already purchased them with your other systems?
