THIS IS A DVD2XBOX READ-ME, HERE YOU WILL LEARN HOW TO COPY GAMES TO YOUR XBOX HD, AND HOW TO MAKE BACKUPS ON YOUR PC. PROGRAMS NEEDED: DVD2XBOX A MODDED XBOX OF COURSE A FTP PROGRAM SUCH AS FLASHFXP A WORKING PC 1 ROUTER & 2 ETHERNET CABLES A DVD BURNER ON YOUR PC AN ISO MAKING PROGRAM FOR XBOX SUCH AS QWIX OR SIMPLEX 1. 1RST, GO TO LUANCH MENU TNE APPS ON YOUR XBOX BOX, SELECT THE PROGRAM DVD2XBOX YOU WILL SEE A MENU SCREEN WITH THESE OPTIONS: A: COPY DVD/CD-R TO HDD Y: GAME MANAGER X: COPY DVD/CD-R TO SMB SHARE B: FILEMANAGER WHITE BUTTON: SETTINS L-R-BLACK: BACK TO DASHBOARD 2. PUT IN THE GAME YOU WANT TO BURN TO THE HDD, LET IT INITIALIZE THE AFTER THE SIZE OF THE GAME COMES UP PRESS A. 3. NOW THAT WILL OPEN UP A NEW MENU SCREEN CHOOSE DUMP DIRECTORY: IT DISPLAYS THE SIZE OF YOUR HDD AND ASK YOU WHERE YOU WANT TO BURN THE GAME TO. EXAMPLE IF YOU HAVE THE REGULAR 8GIG HDD IT WILL LOOK LIKE THIS: 4456MB FREE E:\ 4445MB FREE E:\GAMES 4456MB FREE E;\MUSIC 4. KEEP IN MIND UNTIL YOU GET A LARGER HDD MOST GAMES YOU BURN WILL EITHER BE TOO BIG OR TAKE UP MOST OF YOUR MEMORY ON THE 8 GIG HDD. 5. SELECT THE OPTIONS THAT READS; 4456MB FREE E;\GAMES AND PRESS THE A BUTTON. 6.NOW THIS WILL BRING UP 1 LAST MENU YOU BEFORE THE BURNING BEGINS. DESTINATION PATH; START BUTTON; PROCEED X; CHANGE DIRECTORY BACK; CHOSE DRIVE AGAIN 7. PRESS THE START BUTTON AND BEGIN TO START COPYING THE XBOX GAME. 8. IT WILL RAPIDLY GO TO THE SCREEN SHOWING THE GAME BEING COPIED AND THE PERCENT THAT IS DONE. 9. ONCE IT FINISHES IT WILL SPIT THE GAME OUT AND ASK YOU TO PRESS START TO PROCEED. 10. NOW THE DVD2XBOX WILL GO BACK TO THE THE 1RST MENU I MENTIONED EARLIER. 11. NOW YOU HAVE A FRESH NEW BACKUP ON YOUR XBOX HDD NOW CONGRATS!!! ''MAKING A BACK UP OF THE XBOX GAME ON DVDS'' 1. GO TO YOUR PC OR COMPUTER AND OPEN UP WHAT EVER FLASH PROGRAM YOU HAVE ON IT. I USE FLASHFXP SO WE WILL USE THAT FOR THIS PART OF THE READ-ME. 2.BEFORE YOU DO THAT EXIT THE DVD2XBOX PROGRAM ON YOUR XBOX AND RETURN TO ITS DASHBOARD. 3. THERE IS AN OPTION THAT SAYS IP; WITH SOME NUMBERS IN IT. FRO EXAMPLE IP; 192.168.0.101 SOMETHING LIKE THAT. 4. NOW OPEN UP FLASHFXP ON YOUR PC IT WILL HAVE TO BOXES IN IT A LEFT AND A RIGHT SIDE. 5.AT THE TOP IT HAS SOME OPTIONS BUT, YOU WILL ONLY SELECT THE SITES OPTION. 6. THAT BRINGS UP A SMALL BOX SELECT SITE MANAGER NEXT IN THE BOX. 7.OK PAY CLOSE ATTENTION AT THESE NEXT FEW STEPS. YOU WILL SEE A BOX OPEN UP ON LEFT SIDE OF FLASHFXP. THE OPTIONS READ; site name; ip adress; user name; password; remote path; local path; time zone; note; 8. in the bottom right corner or 3 small boxes new site; new group; and delete; 9.you will slect the new site option 1rst then go to these options site name; ip adress; user name; password; remote path; local path; time zone; note; and fill them out for your new xbox connection example; note; [the user name/password will always be xbox no matter what] site name; my xbox ip adress; 192.168.0.103 [put what your ip is on your xbox ok] user name; xbox password; xbox remote path;leave blank local path;leave blank time zone;leave blank note;leave blank 10.after all that is done, look in the bottom right corner for the apply and connect option. 11.1rst select apply then connect. if all was done right then it will connect you your xbox. 12. ok now on the left you should have the following folders; c; d; e; f; g; x; y; z; open up the e; folder and find the folder named games in it. 13. now it should show the game you just now burnt to you xbox hdd in it. the path should look like this e;\games\name of game next steps are drag and drop method pay close attention to not mess up. 14 take that whole folder and drag it to the right sode of the flash program. to make this simple make you a folder like my xbox games then locate that folder on the right side of flash. 15.this should not take too long depending on the spedd of your computer. 16. once it is done and completly in your my xbox games folder, open up simplex. ''burnin an xbox iso with simplex read-me'' 1. open up the simplex program on your pc. it will open a small box with 4 options in it. extract an iso make and iso establish shell exts. remove shell exts. 2. you will always select the make an iso option only. 3. once that is done a browse for folder box will pop up. 4. go to your folder called my xbox games and select the game you want to make an iso out of. 5.ok now you will get another box asking you where you want to save the image at. 6. to make it easy to find just save it in your xbox game folder. 7.once you select save button it will begin making the iso for you. 8. when simplext has completed its task. it will say complete and and display a quit button for you. press it and your are done with all that part. 9. now once you have your iso you game delete the fold that your game is in. you wont need it now that you have made it into an iso to save space. [ delete the game folder only with the title of your game in it not the iso you just made.] ''burnin the iso to a dvd blank to play in your xbox'' 1. just chose any burning program you have on your pc like; record now max,nero,dvd decrypter, or alcohol 120. 2. select thge iso and burn it to a dvd blank for game play. if done correctly you now have a perfect backup on dvd to own and play in your xbox. yay!!!!!!!!!!!!! your done. note; now to get better game play try using different burning programs and try bunring at different speeds. always keep in mind that all your games you burn will not always work correctly. alot of games have blocks on them to prevent hackers from burning them its nottheing to do with you at all. for example depending on your softmod certain games won't ever boot form your hdd, they only will boot up on a reboot.now if you or an extreme hacker and you know how to get pass this error then do do so. of course i do but, that is another read-me lol have fun and enjoy. list of games with blocks on them so far; gta 5 san andreas the sims bustin out the playboy mansion the urbz sims in the city stubbs the zombie leisure suit larry these are what i ahve so far if anyone has more please fill free to pm me and i will add them for you.
