Downloaded XBox game on USB Stick

Hi all - sorry if this in the wrong section...my first post.

Basically, I`m starting slowly.
Want to be able to use downloaded content (DLCs, not ISOs) on my completely unmodded XBox.
Am hoping this is possible.

So far, I`ve dowloaded Kinect Party (please don`t jude me ).

I copied a demo game from my XBox to the USB stick and opened the file in Horizon to get my Ids.

Then tried editing the DLC with my IDs. But...

...couldn`t edit IDs in Horizon (Save, Refresh and Resign option isn`t available.for my downloaded content).

...no option to edit Console ID in Modio

Finally, I edited and saved Ids in 360R (apart from ID Set - no idea what this is)

Transferred it to the USB stick, put it in my XBox but don`t see Kinect Party under Games.
Under Storage, I see Kinect Party and it isn`t corrupted.

I tried moving it to the main drive. After that, my profile was removed from my XBox...have MS clued-in to my dastardly deeds already ??? :sarcastic_hand:

So questions...

Is what I`m doing even possible ?
If so, can anyone point out what I`m doing wrong ?
Should I give up and find a different hobby ?
