Square Enix has registered a domain relating to the Legacy of Kain series, called War for Nosgoth. The domain registration, for warfornosgoth.com, was filed on February 7th through CSC Corporate Domains, Inc. Following the registration, a storyboard has emerged which purports to relate to a cut-scene from the game. Posted by the artist Richard Buxton, the storyboard is labelled “Legacy of Kain videogame animation pitch” and was undertaken on behalf of a company called Passion Pictures in 2011. Legacy of Kain debuted on PlayStation in 1996, developed by Silicon Knights’ Dennis Dyak. There have since been four further entries to the series, including the Soul Reaver spin-offs, the latest of which was Legacy of Kain: Defiance on PS2 and Xbox in 2003.
