In yesterdays stream, Bungie outlined some of the news skills and Artifacts available for Subclasses in Destiny: The Taken King.

During the stream, the team playing the strike went through the various option in the Hunter, Titan and Warlock skill trees. We’ve tried to explain it the best we can for you below, as they moved through it pretty fast in order to get to the Strike.

You can re-watch the stream through the link above. Bungie will release the YouTube version of the stream tomorrow with the Bungie Weekly Update.

The Warlock Subclass, Stormcaller, is all about channeling lightning. It can also use a new Storm Grenade, which is like a storm in your pocket. Upon being tossed, it causes a AoE storm where it lands. The character class can also increase its speed using Stormtrance.

This Subclass can also call upon lightning, and using the Landfall modifier, the character can float above enemies and throw a lightning bolt. It can also make use of Chain Lightning, and the new Pulsewave Artifact will also provide a static speed boost.

The Titan Subclass Sunbreaker was also shown, along with his nifty Thor hammer-on-steroids, the Sunbreaker Hammer. Using it along with the Sunspot mechanic will provide the player with a gain overkill and it rains fire upon enemies and is especially good for PvP. He’s all about burning things, really.

Nightstalker is the Hunter Subclass and it’s the first support role for the character. It can trap enemies, like a true Hunter, keeping them in place for other team members to bash to bits. A Spike grenade was revealed, and the class can use Shadowshot for its arrows, and a new Smoke Bomb will also be available. It allows the class to vanish in smoke, and is a modification for the grenade.

Public events, rewards and The Court of Oryx will be shown next week.

Destiny: The Taken King is out September 15.
