Destiny’s Iron Banner Event returns next week and developer Bungie has detailed some big changes to the PvP event. Most notably: it will no longer focus on Control.Since Iron Banner debuted last year it has always revolved around the Crucible’s zone capture mode, but now the jump is being made to Clash, Destiny’s name for team Deathmatch.“I’d expect to see a bit less Super ability usage, and a lot more shooting across the board, but good teams will work together and hold territory even without the scoring incentives that Control provided,” said Senior Designer Derek Carroll. In addition to this, the promised adjustments to loot drops will also arrive next week. When Iron Banner returned last month, Bungie said that drops would be your primary source of new items, but a bug meant that wasn’t the case.
