The Xbox One version of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 has appeared on the Xbox One's online store, despite claims from Activision that it had been delayed indefinitely. Last week the publisher pushed back the release date of the Xbox One version, with EB Games stores in the US reportedly cancelling pre-orders. Activision then followed up these reports by confirming the game had been delayed indefinitely, stating: "We want to inform you that we are revising our release plans for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 on Xbox One. When and whether ASM2 is released on Xbox One is TBD." However, this morning a NeoGAF user spotted the game on the North American version of the Xbox One store. Priced at $59.99 and 9.89GB in size, the game appears to be the complete version, and users have reported being able to buy the game and play it. It also features timed Challenges, as is the case with other full Xbox One games. At the time of writing, one Xbox One owner who has purchased the game is currently streaming it on Twitch to show it is working. CVG can confirm the game is not available on the UK version of the Xbox One store - it would appear the release is limited to the American store. Source - CVG
