Namco Bandai has graced Los Angeles with an enormous Dark Souls 2 banner ahead of E3 next week, giving us a release window at last. The publisher has heretofore been a bit cagey about when the anticipated RPG sequel would arrive, hazarding only that it was likely to be pushed into 2014. That certainly looks to be the case, with the banner reading “March 2014″, which common sense dictates is the official release window. Contrary to the hopes of the faithful, it doesn’t look like the delay follows a next-generation conversion; the banner shows PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 logos only, although there’s room just out of shot for a PC symbol, too. Demon Souls was the first one and Dark Souls was the sequel. I am excited though! I love this series even though I never did get to play Demon Souls.
