So...I was looking for a way to play 2disc games without installing the contents by extracting the game data (impossible) but failed miserably...When I tried opening one of them with a notepad cuz I was bored I discovered weird chinese codes inside one of them (Alien: Isolation) haha Am I doing it wrong or are they just coded this way? LOL
Notepad is definitely not the way to edit things, grab a hex editor. This is a PIRS encrypted file and you wont find anything until its decrypted, LeFluffie would be your best bet to decrypt

this is why we DONT open files in notepad as notepad only does a small amount of text its not built for encryption files like that need to be dropped into a Hex Editor such as HXD most times they will need to be Decrypted before ya do that ya cant open files like this in notepad i can tell yo straight out the first 4 letters in that where it says PIRS= its a live signed your p1ssssin in the wind PIRS file means its signed for LIVE= Xbox360...only M$ have the encryption keys for that unless your rockin a dev nand/rgh
