Performance Designed Products, aka (PDP) are currently working on a super charger for Xbox One controllers. It is called the 'Super Charger' because it can charge a standard Xbox One controller in under 60 seconds! That is an amazingly fast charge time which will last for a full 10-12 hours of gameplay.
“The Super Charger's unique ability to recharge the Xbox One controller in just seconds reduces interruption in game play sessions – a full recharge during a quick break provides convenience to all gamers,” says PDP chief technology officer Tom Roberts.
Currently not much information is known about the super charger, no details of cost or release dates have been released yet.
We will be sure to keep you updated when we know more about the product.
Next week IGN will be getting their hands on with the Super Charger at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show next week. Lucky SOB's!
What do you think of the super charger? Charging in under 60 seconds... do you need this in your life? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.

No that sounds cool, if only they could also do something for cellphones as well.

That was the first thing I thought too tbh, but if you look at the pictures, it would seem as though it needs a specialist battery which is massive!
