Can you read a dvd key of a retail nand without the drive

Why can't you get the drive key?

None the less, no there is no way. You'd need to retrieve the DVD key via RGH.

 

Im not sure, usbpro does not pick it up. the pcb is white with 2 white boards on the back of my drive.
Btw it was flashed by someone else and its out of a slim xbox

 

It would probably be an LTU, can you take pictures of the PCB at all area's please?

 

I have looked it up and yes its an ltu, i cant take pictures atm because a friend has the drive because he has the usbpro

In that case, just set the switch to unlock, unlock the drive within JF by pressing the 0x8C button (locked SPI so it changes to 0x00 (Unlocked SPI) Of course have the radiobox set to Slim 2

If it's not even detecting in JF, then it will be a problem with the connection or hardware you are using. Can you list the equipment he has to me?

 

he has usb pro jungleflasher and power for the drive

We have picked up the drive now but when he presses slim key it wont enter vendor mode.
