How to open the menu

• Open the data vault in your campaign hub
• Go to the top left corner of the screen and highlight the odd “S” logo, which will make your cursor vanish.
• Now hold two of the shoulder buttons, either the left ones or the right ones
• Press Square and Triangle (PS4) or X and Y (Xbox One)

I read up on a few articles about this and it actually shows that their is no proof yet that the codes effect the achievements/trophies. I know you said "possibly" but, I wanted to relieve a little less stress people may be having on using it or not.
