When you boot up Gears of War 3 for the first time, you might notice an Event Calendar flashing a notice to you near the bottom of the screen. During the Beta this kept us informed on the weekly happenings, but now it’s showing us their planned activities coming up. These events are the only way to unlock the “Golden COG” multiplayer skin, and it looks like the wacky multiplayer modifiers are returning as well.
