Battlefield 4 will feature the downloadable content service Battlefield Premium, DICE has confirmed. Game director Lars Gustavsson said that the online subscription service is planned for the sequel following its successful debut with Battlefield 3 in 2012. "We'll definitely do Premium for Battlefield 4," he told Digital Spy. "It was so well received and we got good feedback from the community, so it's definitely something we're going to continue with." Gustavsson also confirmed a report earlier this week that existing Battlefield 3 Premium subscribers would gain access to the beta. Access will also be available via the Digital Deluxe edition through Origin and owners of Medal of Honour: Warfighters's Limited Edition. It was added that the beta will launch in late 2013, and that a "clearer message" on more precise timings will be delivered in the coming months. Source Digital Spy.
