Bad blocks can i flash?

    Hi guys,

    I am following this tutorial http://www.xpgamesaves.com/topic/59124-tutorial-how-to-update-rghjtag-to-dash-16202/ because you need at least dash 16202 if you want to play injustice gods among us.

    My problem now is i get a bad block error after dumping the nand image with flash360.

    It says

    • Bad Block ID @ 0xDA [Offset: 0x383400]
    • Bad Block ID @ 0xDA Found @ 0x3FF[Offset: 0x107BE00]

    I thought j runner auto fixes (remap the blocks) when I press create image, but after I created the image I still have the bad blocks.

    What do I need to do now?

    A couple bad blocks are normally fine as long as they ain't in the KV section, J-Runner should fix them for you when you make an image though.

    Well, after I load the newly created image I still have the same image equal as the dumped image lol unfortunately the new image still has the bad blocks.

    Also is a slim trinity on dash 15772 rgh 1 or rgh2?

    That's RGH v2 if that's the Kernel it was on.

    Doesn't matter, even if a Slim was on 9199 the method of IC wiring is and always will be RGH2.

    Any Slim uses RGH2 as well as Phat consoles 14717 and above.

    Phat consoles 14699 and below are RGH1 - They do not use IC wiring, instead they go for the CPU_PLL_Bypass method.

    use jrunner to flash, it remaps them automatically
