I have laptop that come with windows 8 pre installed and i have ran win 7 boot disk in and i have formatted the HDD where it give me option to and as i went to install windows 7, It came up with ' CaNT install windows on GPT Partional Drive how do i get this install windows 7 or even back to windows 8 i tryed with a windows 8 disc to but same thing, tryed also remved secure boot Any help be great!!!
Simple I assume you were installing from a USB or other drive. Just install Windows 7 or 8 from a disc. Burn a ISO and it should work fine.
when you boot up win 7 install disc,you will need to delete all partitions on the hdd,create a new one and format the new one,then try install again,check this vid out on how to
your going to have to format your hdd, then create 2 partitions install win7 on 1 and win8 on the other
lol i had the same prob ended up installing windows 7 3 times and 8 2 times all of which were incomplete installs xD
