Smartphone owners rejoice, your favourite mobile device game is coming to consoles soon. The Star Wars series in the popular "Angry Birds" game franchise is set to release on all major gaming consoles in October, complete with new multiplayer modes and exclusive levels. "Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Nintendo Wii and Wii U, as well as PlayStation Vita and Nintendo 3DS owners will be able to catapult Luke Skywalker and other classic Star Wars characters – albeit in bird form – through similarly themed levels based on the original film trilogy," The Next Web report said. Quoting Rovio, The Next Web said the “remastered†edition will include all-new competitive and cooperative multiplayer modes. It will also have 20 new levels exclusive to the console version. "For die-hard Angry Birds fans, this is therefore the definitive collector’s edition," it said. Gamers in the United States may get first crack at the games starting October 29.
