hey guys! I've actually been a member here for around two years now! but I have only just started becoming active here, so I thought I should probably introduce myself! I'm Adam, and I've been a gamer ever since I first played legend of zelda: links awakening waaaay back on the original gameboy ;D when I was like, 4? wow. I'm mainly a first person shooter kinda guy, but I do love to play some open world RPG's too! I've been modding for quite a few years now, but its really just gamesave modding. I can hex edit fine, as long as theres something to fix the checksum for me, because IDEK what that is to be completely honest! about me: well... I'm just about to start my masters degree in theoretical physics at Edinburgh university. sounds thrilling, right? so as you can probably imagine, numbers are definitely my strong suit! which is why I really want to learn more about checksums etc, because I think I'd be sad enough to actually enjoy cracking them... so if anyone wants to write a copy of checksums for dummies I'd be much obliged! I know a little about computing, and I'm teaching myself more and more, so hopefully I'll be able to help out with developing tools etc in the future! I have a huge collection of gamesaves because I've been using them for years now, so if you need anything, then feel free to hit me up with a PM and I'll search the archives for you looking forward to being a more active part of the community here, and I promise that once I create a miniature fusion engine and become a billionaire I'll start donating ;D
