No DLC is required. Hardcore save at the penultimate savestation. Hand Cannon (Foam Finger) and Arctic Security Suit as standard. All necromorphs except the Regenerator are already killed, making this a pretty much straight run to the final fight. Ammo, guns and health are available in the safe if you need it.
