Sick of your Stinger missile missing harriers and ALL kinds of choppers?

Hello

I get really sick and tired of shooting my stinger missile at a harrier or any kind of chopper and it missing them. then when you reload you either miss again or you get shot...

I found this little trick out all by my self...

aim DIRECTLY at the underbelly of the target with LT, wait until it locks on and then PREES AND HOLD RT until it blows up. remember to keep both LT & RT held down and foe some reason it will work. It might not hit it once in a while but them chances change when you hold both triggers.

Also I find that shooting the target from directly below it will almost turn out a 100% blown up chopper or harrier

Try this out and let me know what happens.

yeah this is really annoying me too, but never have problems shooting down harriers just choppers and ac130's, they seem to shoot flares out the bottom which is what puts your stinger missile off

To take out an AC130 what you have to do is....

shoot 3 Stinger missiles at it, the 3rd one will blow it up

 

Is stinger better than javelin? An the only time my stinger didnt take down the harrier was when it killed me lol

I hate when it misses, but i roll with one man army pro, so i switch to another class that has a stinger, coldblooded, as soon as i see the bad boys in the air. Ac130, chopper gunner, no problem. Then when i bring the bad boy down, i switch back to my previous class. forgot u switch back when u respawn, but if you have scavenger on then ur back at work. works like a charm. hahaha l
