Not sure what i did wrong but when I hit the right tumbstick is says you feel ethereal and my guy just falls through the floor and flys everywhere

You seem to have downloaded Ghost mode mod Aka Noclip instead of the GodMode one. Ghost is only available for the English version of coal files. Download the very first link you see on the first page for GodMode, that should be GodMode enabled one.
