Are you extracting your "-GAME_0000" and injecting the the modded one? It's pretty simple, it's just replacing your current game save file. You would also need to have your Gamer Profile on the USB to attach the save to your Gamer Tag. If that doesn't help I guess I'll make a video or something for you. XD
Yeah, as far as I know i've done exactly this. I have experimented with another modded save and it worked when I tried to do the exact same thing with this save following all the steps, but when I log into the DS2 game it doesn't allow me to continue, it only allows me to click New Game, which i'm guessing means it didn't work since the other game save that works gives me the option to continue and appears with six characters.
Hmmm, I haven't heard of anyone having this problem. It honestly sounds like you're not attaching your Gamer ID to it. It happened to me a lot when I first started swapping game saves I'd forget to put my Profile on the USB so it could attach to the game save. That would be the only reason it wouldn't show up correctly. As FallenPredator stated make sure you rehashed & resign, ensure it's attached to your Gamer ID, and when you transfer it to your Xbox it will automatically correct to your consoles ID.
These are the exact steps i'm doing: 1 Double click one of your saves. 2 Copy your Profile ID 3 Double click this modded save 4 Paste your profile id into this save. 5 Save, rehash and resign Nothing happens after this.
Explain? Did the souls take and not the items? Did you check the Bonfire? Make sure you're not trying to inject a character slot, but the entire game save. It should replace everything.
Does this still work online? I've been trying with other save and can't seem to play online anymore. All I did was level weapons and armor up. Then died twice to lose the remaining souls. Leveling up at regular game pace but can't play with people or invade. As a matter of fact when I try to invade I instantly get told "Unable to find world to invade."
For me yes it's still working online, and I recently (last week) gave it to a friend and it's working for him too. c:
