How do the bans in Ghost work?

Im proud of you IW you finally added automatic banning system like Black Ops 2 had too bad it was already bypasses by few XD

 

This is very strange, I have the checker board prestige and I still haven't been banned.

5 freshly created accounts banned within 15 mins and now got a console / device ban ? hey are pulling there fingers out slowly

No this just means you will not be automatically banned when using a jtag to play on ghost servers... This does not reverse a permanant ban. Sorry. You can get by a console ban on a jtag provided you change the KV but not a perm account ban.

 

still nothing on the X1 side of my account. the question probably isn't "will it get banned" as much as it is "when will it get banned"

 

I think the people that are getting banned are people with killstreak mods and the minigun classes. I am 10th with unlock all and got legit stats and I am still not banned. :LOL:

I got banned on my retail. As for now, just can't play ghosts online, I havent tried anything else yet. I can still get online for everything else(Netflix, Internet Explorer). I can live with that. I did also lose my season pass tho. I still have my jtags. I guess I will be only playing ghosts on LINK for awhile.

 

I created a new profile and it could go on the ghosts servers and my dlc was there too.

okay so quick question, accounts banned kinda saw it coming but anyway my consoles not banned so if i make a new account and play ill be good right? (never been banned before sorry for the stupid questions.)

 

Well for the meantime... Activision says they report the users to microsoft. Not sure if the live account or console bans are on the way or not... Apparently my buddy got his retail box console banned (from playing ghosts only - not live) for logging in with multiple Live/Ghosts accounts that were banned. One or two attempts are ok but more than that you run the risk of getting your console blocked.

 

I spoke to soon just logged on and i have been hit with a perma ban .. however i look on the funny side that it took them this long to start banning lol
