Xbox One Controller, Headset, and Play and Charge Kit Priced

Microsoft has officially priced the Xbox One's controller, Chat Headset, and Play and Charge Kit, all of which are now up for pre-order. So how much should you expect to spend on spare peripherals when the next generation console launches later this year?


The Xbox One's wireless controller will cost $59.99, and adding the Play and Charge Kit will set you back a total of $74.99. If you just need an extra charge kit, that will cost $24.99. Lastly, the Chat Headset is priced at $24.99.





Each of the Xbox One accessories cost $10 more than Microsoft's current price for their Xbox 360 counterparts.

The PS4 Peripherals are just as pricey

 

im gonna wait til one get modded first then im getting the console, cuz no way im paying 50 quid a games lol

 

But you don't have to pay for a play and charge kit as they already have a battery built in and use micro usb

 

And that is why I won't be getting the Xbox One. That and the fact - it sucks.

 

Wait...what?! You have a pay more for a newer, nicer, more efficient, better looking controller which will drop in price after launch anyway? No way :O :facepalm: I bet the new PS4 controller is more with it's crappy trackpad thing.

Yeah but still the peripherals will still be expensive like any console that gets released and they will drop in price a couple of months later probably

 

Why do I feel M$ is bleeding me dry like a vampire? Oh hell. I'm still getting Xbox One. I guess I'll numb myself before I go to that checkout line.

Why are they selling a Play & charge kit, if you don't need one? Are you planning on using your own micro usb cord :| If it allows you to do so it will be much cheaper than Microsoft's product. hh:
