I don't understand why "Scrounger" achievement wouldn't pop. This cheevo requires you to collect 5000 salvage parts. The starter save has 9000 salvage parts, therefore you should get Scrounger achievement immediately? Just an observation, the 4000 skill points is really overkill. I believe you only need a little over 100 skill points to fill all the skill trees.

To the authors, a big thank-you. Well done!

 

the achievement says you need to collect 5000 salvage .. Doesn't say you need to have 5000 it only pops when you actually collect it ..

Just so I understand (and perhaps others who will use the starter save), even though I have 9000 salvage parts, I will still need to find and collect 5000 more salvage parts for the achievment to pop?

 

Yep. I was already about a third of the way into that so it just finished up as I went along with the save. It does NOT pop with this save.
