where are the save files for riptide located? i'm on windows 7.

save editor you linked is useless, crashes with an error upon trying to open it.. just thought u might wanna know.

I keep on getting an error saying that it is the wrong file size or something like that

You are supposed to extract the whole save, not what's in the contents tab

I Keep getting something popping up saying that the file is in use so it can not save.

 

Alright, extracted whole save. I'm pretty experienced with modding 360 saves and pc as well. Anyway, once save editor is launched and I open my save I get a message telling me to load a valid Dead Island save. Are you sure the two formats are the same? I assumed they'd be different what with the inability to import gear along with your character. Perhaps I've overlooked something, but I've gone through the usual steps and even went so far as to try a Dead Island save, which worked perfectly fine.

 

How did you guys manage to get the game 2 days before its release?
