Ok, i just tried it out and I got corrupted save. But it still let me continue on the levelwith the 999999 health but all the previous scores on previous level were gone?

The playerdat file could of been the problem. The checkpoint save must of worked as it let me continue with 99999 health but the level scores were all reset and that is down to data on the playerdat being corrupted, I think.
